The Successful Business Service Owner will: 
We are seeking a Service Line Owner who can connect market opportunity, customer need, and product execution. This role identifies growth opportunities within the domain, translates product direction into execution plans, and drives delivery outcomes.
This role operates across leadership, business development, program management, software development, quality assurance, customer support, and front-end development. The role ensures that product direction is implemented correctly within the domain and that delivery aligns with customer and business needs.
This role has authority over implementation decisions, domain-level trade-offs during development, and release readiness.

What You'll Do:

Business Strategy and Ownership
  • Contribute to product strategy based on domain insight and customer engagement
  • Identify market opportunities, customer segments, and areas for growth within the domain
  • Own domain-level planning, sequencing, and delivery aligned to the product roadmap
  • Partner with Sales and leadership on positioning, packaging, and pricing considerations
  • Monitor product performance, adoption, and client feedback to inform decisions
  • Be accountable for delivery outcomes, including adoption and client impact

The Service Line Owner is expected to:
  • Be an expert on the domain, its users, and the workflows it supports
  • Conduct discovery with customers and internal stakeholders to understand workflows, constraints, and goals
  • Translate business objectives and customer input into domain plans, delivery priorities, and detailed specifications
  • Ensure solutions scale across programs and align with the broader product suite
  • Create detailed mockups, workflows, use cases, user stories, and functional specifications
  • Ensure behavior and interaction details align with product direction and the design system, in collaboration with Product and Front End
  • Work closely with software development and QA to ensure solutions are implemented correctly
  • Communicate direction, release value, and impact to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Review outcomes against defined success metrics and adjust plans accordingly
  • Capture learnings and update domain plans while contributing input to the product roadmap
 
Core Skills
  • Comfortable in a client-facing context and able to lead structured discovery conversations
  • Able to own a domain or system end-to-end, from understanding the business need through delivery and outcome validation
  • Comfortable using data and metrics to evaluate outcomes and inform decisions
  • Strong UX and interaction design instincts within a defined design system
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce precise specifications
  • Strong analytical ability across data logic, permissions, and edge cases
  • Technically fluent and able to collaborate closely with developers and QA
  • Organized and able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
